Home/Decorative & Functional Film

Some glass hides. Some glass shows off.

Turn plain glass into frosted partitions, branded storefronts, mirror walls and colour-shifting features. Each finish adds privacy or identity, applied straight onto your existing glass.

What decorative film actually is.

A decorative film is a thin, stick-on layer that goes over glass you already own. It can look etched, patterned, mirrored or coloured, while the glass underneath stays exactly as it is.

You have probably walked past it without noticing: the frosted meeting room, the branded shopfront. It is one material, finished to suit the job, and it peels off cleanly if the space changes later.

The problem

What plain glass can't do.

Four jobs plain glazing can't do, and the finish that covers each one.

01

No privacy

A clear pane puts whoever sits behind it on display to the street or the corridor.

Frost blurs the view. Mirror film hides the daytime interior outright.
02

Plain, featureless surfaces

Builder-standard panes do nothing for the room around them.

Sculpted textures give glass depth: 3D facets, honeycombs, flowing lines.
03

A blank branding canvas

Street-facing glass is prime signage space, and most of it sits empty.

Cut or printed film puts the logo and livery on the glass itself.
04

Exposed open-plan space

Glazed floors run into one another with nothing to mark where an area ends.

Gradient bands give every zone an edge, no stud wall required.

The everyday privacy

The view softens. The daylight stays.

Frosted film scatters light instead of blocking it. Anyone a step behind the glass turns into a soft blur, yet the room stays bright. It is the quiet fix for meeting rooms, bathrooms and street-facing windows.

  • Full-pane frost, gradient fades or an eye-level band
  • Clear vision strips wherever sightlines matter
  • Frosts by 3M ElectroCut and Reflectiv, plain or patterned

Privacy with a view

You see out. They don't see in.

Mirror film reflects the brighter side. In daylight the street sees a mirrored surface while you keep a clear view out, so ground-floor rooms and roadside glass stay private with no blinds. After dark the effect flips, so a lit room needs curtains at night.

  • One-way daytime privacy on street-level glass
  • Keeps your view out, unlike solid frost
  • Cuts glare and solar heat at the same time

The Reflectiv range

This is where glass gets to show off.

Reflectiv carries solar and safety films too, but decorative is where it really stands apart. Its coloured films turn ordinary glazing into a statement, and we hold five shades in Lahore: Vermilion Red, Orange, Mint Green, Ocean Blue and Violet, alongside colour-shifting dichroic finishes. This is the one place we let colour lead.

Choosing privacy

Frost, mirror or pattern?

The three privacy routes behave differently. Match the film to how the room is used.

Frost: constant, both ways

The blur works from both directions and never switches off. The safe default for meeting rooms, bathrooms and bedroom windows.

Mirror: one-way, by day

It reflects the brighter side: outsiders see sky by day while you look out freely. After dark with the lights on, the effect reverses, so plan on blinds at night.

Pattern: partial, by design

Stripes, dots and gradients interrupt the view without sealing the room off. Right for glazed offices that should still feel open.

Why film, not new glass

All the effect of new glass. None of the mess.

Sandblasted glass can never be un-etched, and swapping panes puts trades in the building for days. Film delivers the same finishes on the panes already in place, then comes off cleanly when the brand or the layout moves on.

MDN 500 Day & Night Mirror

One-way mirror, evening-enhanced

A one-way mirror built for the evening problem: standard mirror film weakens once inside lights outshine the sky. Suited to overlooked ground floors, clinics and executive offices.

Common questions

Decorative film, answered.

Does decorative film give full privacy?

Frosted and patterned films obscure the view through the glass in both directions while still letting light through, ideal for meeting rooms, bathrooms and partitions. For one-way daytime privacy, a mirror or reflective film is used instead.

Can window film be printed with our logo or a custom pattern?

Yes. Decorative films can be cut or digitally printed for branding, manifestation and custom patterns, so glazing carries your identity or a bespoke design.

What is the difference between frosted and mirror film?

Frosted film gives an etched-glass look with two-way privacy and soft diffused light. Mirror film is reflective, giving one-way daytime privacy and a dramatic architectural finish while still allowing a view out from inside.

Is decorative film removable?

Applied films can be professionally removed and replaced if your branding or layout changes, making them a flexible alternative to sandblasting or replacing the glass itself.

Does decorative film still let daylight through?

Yes. Most frosted and patterned films are translucent, obscuring the view for privacy while still letting soft, diffused daylight into the room. If a section needs to stay clear, designs can be cut with vision strips or custom patterns. Solid and mirror finishes block more light and are chosen where privacy or effect matters more than brightness.

Can decorative film be used on office partitions and glass doors?

Yes, this is one of its most common commercial uses. Frosted and printed films are applied to glass partitions, meeting-room walls and doors to add privacy, branding and manifestation (safety marking) without replacing the glass. Designs can carry a company logo, a pattern or a simple frosted band at eye level.
