What we collect when you contact us, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
This covers film.protekdevices.com.pk, the window films site of Protek Devices. Last updated 2026-08-01.
Only what you type into the enquiry form or the film finder, and only when you submit it. That is your name and phone number, which are required so we can reply; and optionally your email address, city, sector, what you need the film for, and whatever you tell us about the project.
Where you send the enquiry from — which page, and whether it came through the finder — is recorded with it, along with your IP address and browser user-agent. Those last two are kept to spot automated abuse of the form, not to build any profile of you.
Browsing the site collects nothing. There is no tracking of pages you read, and the site sets no cookies of its own.
To answer your enquiry, prepare a quote, and arrange a site survey. That is the whole of it. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone for marketing.
Enquiries are stored in Google Firestore and emailed to our team. If you choose to continue the conversation on WhatsApp, that message goes through WhatsApp and is subject to their terms, not ours — sending it is your choice and the enquiry reaches us either way.
Our hosting is Google Firebase, which means the site and its data sit on Google infrastructure. Standard server logs are kept by Google for their own operational purposes.
Enquiries are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them — through the quote, the survey, the installation, and the warranty period that follows, since a warranty claim years later depends on our still having the record. If nothing comes of an enquiry, we do not need it indefinitely, and you can ask us to remove it at any point.
Write to info@protekdevices.com.pk or call +92 (42) 3577-9085 and you can ask us to send you a copy of what we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, or delete it. We will not ask you to justify the request.
Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which means your browser requests them from Google and Google sees the request. Some pages currently display stock photographs hosted by Unsplash, which are likewise requested from Unsplash by your browser. Neither is used to identify you, and both are being reviewed.
If this changes we will update the date at the top. There is no version history worth keeping; this is the first published version.
