What we collect when you contact us, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
This covers film.protekdevices.com.pk, the window films site of Protek Devices. Last updated 2026-10-21.
Only what you type into the enquiry form or the film finder, and only when you submit it. That is your name and phone number, which are required so we can reply; and optionally your email address, city, sector, what you need the film for, and whatever you tell us about the project.
Where the enquiry came from is recorded with it: which page you were on, whether it came through the finder, the site that linked you to us, and any campaign tag carried by the link you followed. Your IP address and browser user-agent are recorded too; those two are kept to spot automated abuse of the form, not to build any profile of you.
Which pages get read is counted by Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies so it can tell one visit from the next. We use it to see which pages earn enquiries and which earn nothing.
We advertise on Google. If you reach us by tapping one of those adverts, a cookie remembers the tap, so that an enquiry you send later can be credited to the advert that brought you. That is how we learn which adverts are worth paying for. Google may also use your visit to show you our adverts on other sites and apps afterwards.
You can switch off adverts chosen this way, for every advertiser at once, in Google's My Ad Centre. Blocking these cookies costs you no part of the site. If you are visiting from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the advertising cookies are never set in the first place.
When you send an enquiry, the count that goes to Google Ads also carries your phone number and, if you gave one, your email address, but never as readable text: each is turned into a one-way code (a SHA-256 hash) in your browser before it is sent. Google matches that code against Google accounts that interacted with our adverts, so an enquiry can be credited to the advert you tapped even when the cookie that remembers the tap is missing, for example if you tapped the advert on your phone and wrote to us from a computer. Google acts as our processor for this, under the Google Ads Data Processing Terms. Nothing else from your enquiry goes with it, and from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland nothing is sent at all.
Google Tag Manager loads with each page as well. It is the Google tool these tags are managed through, and it sets no cookies of its own.
To answer your enquiry, prepare a quote, and arrange a site survey. That is the whole of it. We do not sell what you send us, rent it, or pass it to anyone for marketing. The advertising measurement described above counts that an enquiry was sent, carrying only your phone number and email address in the coded form explained there.
Enquiries are stored in Google Firestore and emailed to our team. If you choose to continue the conversation on WhatsApp, that message goes through WhatsApp and is subject to their terms, not ours — sending it is your choice and the enquiry reaches us either way.
Our hosting is Google Firebase, which means the site and its data sit on Google infrastructure. Standard server logs are kept by Google for their own operational purposes.
Enquiries are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them — through the quote, the survey, the installation, and the warranty period that follows, since a warranty claim years later depends on our still having the record. If nothing comes of an enquiry, we do not need it indefinitely, and you can ask us to remove it at any point.

Fonts and photographs are served from this site itself — the ones that used to be requested from Google Fonts and Unsplash were moved onto our own hosting. Loading a page here makes no request to any other company, apart from Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Ads as described above. Links you choose to follow are a different matter: tapping WhatsApp hands you to Meta's app, and our business listing opens Google.
If this changes we will update the date at the top. There is no version history worth keeping; what is written above is what the site does today.
