A film warranty covers the film itself: the manufacturing and application faults that show a film has failed early. Peeling, bubbling, cracking, delamination and heavy colour change all count. If they appear within the term, the film is replaced and refitted.
The Window Films division of Protek Devices is an authorized installer for all three brands it fits, which is what makes those written terms stick. Film bought loose and applied by an unauthorized hand carries no such backing.
Every film we install carries a written manufacturer-backed warranty: 10 years on the 3M architectural films we fit, 5 years on TotalGard and Reflectiv films, and per-design terms on made-to-order decorative film. The exact term is stated on each film's page and printed on your quote. Claims are handled by our team in Lahore.
Film is a manufactured laminate, and when one fails it fails in recognisable ways. The warranty exists for exactly those:
Outside the terms: breakage of the glass itself, scratches from impact, and damage from abrasive or ammonia-heavy cleaning. The care guide shows the two-minute routine that keeps film well inside its warranty.
Manufacturer warranties stand behind authorized installation. 3M film, for example, is sold and fitted only through its authorized dealer installers, and the division holds that authorization for all three brands on this site.
The other half is matching film to glass. Double glazing and Low-E coatings can be stressed by the wrong film on the wrong side, which is why our survey decides the film and the face it goes on before anything is cut. The double-glazing guide explains the physics.
Brand paper backs the film. A Lahore office backs the paper. Bank towers, embassy glazing and family bedrooms all carry our installs under the same written terms, and claims for every one of them start at the same desk, +92 (42) 3577-9085.
The film and its application: bubbling, peeling, cracking, delamination and heavy discolouration that appear within the warranty term. A covered fault means the film is replaced and refitted. Breakage of the glass itself, impact scratches and damage from abrasive cleaning fall outside it.

Installation by anyone other than an authorized dealer is the big one; the manufacturers back their film only through authorized hands. Beyond that: the wrong film for the glass type, cleaning with abrasive pads or ammonia-heavy products, and peeling or re-sticking the film yourself. All four are avoidable, and the first two are our responsibility, not yours.
Call, WhatsApp or email us with a photo of the affected pane and roughly when it was installed. We inspect the glass, confirm the fault against the brand's terms, and replace and refit the film. You deal with one team throughout: the one that installed it.
It can affect one if the film-to-glass match is wrong, which is why sensitive glass takes externally-applied film and why we survey before quoting. If your glazing carries its own live warranty, tell us at the survey and check the glazier's terms; we'll recommend a film and installation side that respects both.
