PRINT 2 is a blank. It is 125 microns of clear PET made to be printed on, so the graphic is yours and the film is only the carrier: window branding, wayfinding, promotional graphics, full-colour artwork on glass.

It takes UV, latex, eco-solvent and solvent inks, and the process decides which side you print. Solvent and latex print on the adhesive face, so the graphic is read through the glass and protected by it. UV prints on the opposite face. That choice is worth making before artwork is sent, because it decides whether the image needs mirroring.

Reflectiv reformulated it without a liner, which cuts waste and a step at the press. It goes on inside or outside, is rated Euroclass B-s1, d0, and Reflectiv quotes durability of 7 years indoors and 3 years outdoors on glazing that is not in direct sun. Rolls are 1.37 metres wide in 10 and 30 metre lengths, so anything wider is planned as seams.

Which glass it suits

PRINT 2 can be fitted to either face, inside or outside, which is unusual for a decorative film and useful when the printed side has to face the viewer. Outdoors it works harder and lasts less long, and direct sun shortens it further. The glass itself needs no special properties. The real constraint is the 1.37 metre roll width, which decides where seams fall on a large graphic.
