MIR 800 turns glazing into a solid mirror wall: a 98% mirror effect on both faces that lets no meaningful light through. Reflectiv's own description is exact, it forms an opaque wall that answers decorative and privacy needs at once, which is why it goes on gym walls, studio partitions and retail backdrops rather than on windows anyone looks through.

The film is crystal PET at 80 microns with a hard coat rated past 2H for scratch resistance, so it takes cleaning and casual contact the way a real mirror does. UVA transmission is 0.1%, effectively nothing. It is fire-rated Euroclass B-S1,d0, applies to the inside face at 5°C or warmer, and tolerates minus 20 to plus 80°C in service.

Reflectiv quotes 12 to 15 years of vertical durability in central Europe and warrants it for five years on glazing out of direct sun. Rolls run 1.52 metres wide in lengths up to 30 metres. Beside it in the range sits MIR 900, the fully silver total mirror on a thinner 60 micron base; MIR 800 is the one with the documented hard coat, for surfaces that will be touched.

Which glass it suits

MIR 800 goes on the inside face of any normal clear glass. Because it is fully opaque, treat it as a wall finish rather than a window film: no view survives it in either direction. Avoid polycarbonate backings, give it thirty days before the first clean, then non-abrasive products without ammonia.
