A metalized silver micro-dot film that rejects 52% of solar energy while the dot pattern keeps the glass readable and transparent. Applies inside or out.

EXT 600 solves a specific complaint about solar film: the mirror look. Instead of a continuous metal layer it carries metalized silver micro-dots on a 36 micron PET base, so it rejects 52% of total solar energy at a solar factor of 0.48 while the glass stays readable and non-reflective from both sides. Shop windows keep their display; offices keep their view.

It is one of the few films rated for external and internal application alike, which matters when the inside face cannot be reached: sealed shopfronts, high atriums, glazing with deep reveals. Reflectiv quotes 12 to 15 years of vertical durability in central Europe, with UVA transmission held to 10%.

Fire behaviour is Euroclass B-s1,d0 and application needs 5°C or warmer. One planning note: EXT 600 rolls are 1.22 metres wide, narrower than the 1.52 of most of the range, so wide panes reach a seam sooner. The usual Reflectiv rules apply, thirty days before the first clean, then non-abrasive products without ammonia.

Which glass it suits

EXT 600 can go on either face of any normal clear glass, outside when the inside cannot be reached. The surface must be spotless and polycarbonate wants a compatibility test first. Up close the finish reads as a fine dot pattern rather than a tint, which is exactly what keeps it transparent at distance.
