Window film in Khuzdar

Window film supplied and installed in Khuzdar by Protek Devices, authorized for 3M, TotalGard and Reflectiv since 2000. Heat, safety and privacy film, specified for Khuzdar's climate.

Central Balochistan.

Khuzdar sits on the highland plateau between Quetta and the coast, sharing the altitude and the wide daily temperature swing.

Work here is planned around the scope of the project rather than treated as a routine visit, and we would rather say that plainly than imply a regular schedule.

In short

Protek Devices installs 3M, TotalGard and Reflectiv window film in Khuzdar. A planned trip, arranged around the scope of the project. Commercial work starts with an on-site survey; homes are usually filmed in a single visit.

What Khuzdar's climate asks of the glass.

Quetta sits above 1,600 metres. Days are bright and dry, nights drop hard, and winters are genuinely cold. Ultraviolet is intense because of the altitude, while the total heat load is modest by Pakistani standards.

What we specify here

The same logic as the northern hills, with more glare: a clear high-UV film that keeps the winter solar gain, plus glare control where the sun sits low across a bright, dusty landscape. Dark solar tints are usually the wrong instinct here.

Worth knowing

The daily temperature swing is large. Adhesive cures more slowly through a cold night, so winter installations are given longer before the glass is cleaned.

Getting to Khuzdar

A planned trip, arranged around the scope of the project.

We work throughout Pakistan, and the portfolio on this site lags the work โ€” no Khuzdar install is written up yet. We would rather say that than show you someone else's building and imply it was ours.

Coverage

Across Khuzdar.

We fit film throughout the city, including Cantt, Wadh Road and Zehri Road. Nowhere is off the list; these are simply the areas we are asked for most.

Questions

Khuzdar installs, answered.

Do you really travel this far?

For work that justifies the trip, yes, and we plan it as a single visit covering survey and installation. For a small domestic job we will tell you honestly that the travel is out of proportion, rather than take the booking and disappoint you on price.

Does the altitude change what we need?

Yes. Above 1,500 metres ultraviolet is markedly more intense while the total heat load stays modest, so the sensible specification is a clear high-UV film that leaves the winter solar gain alone. A dark solar tint is usually the wrong instinct here โ€” it makes cold rooms colder.

Do the cold nights affect installation?

They slow the cure. Adhesive sets more slowly through a cold night, so a winter install is given longer before the glass is cleaned or the film is judged. It makes no difference to the finished result, only to the wait.
