Where Punjab meets the Frontier.

Attock sits on the Indus at the boundary with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and is easiest for us to reach as an extension of a Rawalpindi trip.

Refinery and cantonment property make up much of the commercial glazing, and the domestic work is the same as anywhere in Potohar: summer heat without wanting to lose the winter.

In short

Protek Devices installs 3M, TotalGard and Reflectiv window film in Attock. Around four and a half hours from Lahore, past Rawalpindi. Commercial work starts with an on-site survey; homes are usually filmed in a single visit.

Potohar and the capital

What Attock's climate asks of the glass.

Higher ground and a heavier monsoon make this the most temperate part of the country outside the hills. Summers are hot but shorter, and the winter genuinely cools. Buildings here also skew government, diplomatic and institutional.

What we specify here

Heat control still matters through May and June, but the brief shifts: this is the part of Pakistan where safety and blast-mitigation film is asked for most, and where clear anti-shatter over existing glazing is more common than solar tint.

Getting to Attock

Around four and a half hours from Lahore, past Rawalpindi.

We work throughout Pakistan, and the portfolio on this site lags the work โ€” no Attock install is written up yet. We would rather say that than show you someone else's building and imply it was ours.

Coverage

Across Attock.

We fit film throughout the city, including Attock City, Cantt, Hazro Road and Kamra Road. Nowhere is off the list; these are simply the areas we are asked for most.

Questions

Attock installs, answered.

Do you cover this area regularly?

It is covered from the Rawalpindi and Islamabad trips, which are frequent. If timing matters to you, say so when you enquire and we will tell you honestly when a crew is next due rather than promising a date we would then move.

Is safety film different from solar film?

Completely. Solar film manages heat and light; safety film holds shattered glass in the frame after an impact or a blast. They are not alternatives โ€” on institutional glazing we frequently fit anti-shatter film first and a solar film over or alongside it.

Does anti-shatter film make glass bulletproof?

No, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. It keeps a broken pane together, which is what turns flying glass into a cracked window. That is the injury it prevents in a blast, and it is a real and well-documented benefit, but it is not ballistic protection.
